Kritva ’19 brings to you Samadhan, a social case study competition that will give you a glimpse of the crisis conglomerates and MNC’s are facing when it comes to social innovation and responsibility. Your task will be to come up with a strategic and efficient solution while keeping in mind its feasibility, consonance and social impact.

PRIZES worth Rs.50,000 to be won

  • The competition will take place over 3 rounds
  • The event is only open to students currently pursuing Post Graduation in Management / MBA program
  • Each team can have 2-3 members from the same institute
  • Teams may have a mix of both 1st and 2nd year
  • The first and second rounds are elimination rounds
  • A participant can be a part of only one team and each team is only allowed to send one entry for round 2
  • Plagiarism will lead to automatic disqualification
  • Organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the guidelines related to ‘Samadhan’ and the same shall be conveyed to the participating teams at the earliest
  • Decision of organizing committee related to any issue will be final and binding

Round 1: Elimination Round

  • This is an online quiz round
  • At the time decided by the Organizing Committee, the teams will be required to take an online quiz regarding basic business awareness and sustainability in the corporate world
  • The quiz will take place over duration of 20 minutes

Round 2: The Case Study Round

  • Teams that qualify for the next round will be given access to a case study
  • Teams have to then submit an executive summary of their proposed solution via mail to
  • The solution should be in the .pdf format and should not exceed 4 pages. The file and the subject of the mail should be “Samadhan | College name | Team Name”. Any team which doesn’t follow the said convention will automatically be disqualified The summary should include:
    • Brief description of the idea
    • Feasibility Analysis
    • Social Impact
    • Future Implications

Round 3 :The Presentation Round (On Campus Round)

  • The teams that are selected for this round will have to present their proposed solution in front of a panel of judges
  • The presentation should speak about the proposed solution and its implementation.
  • The presentation should not exceed 10 minutes and must not have more than 12 slides (excluding name and reference slides)
  • An additional 5 minutes is allotted for Q&A at the end of the presentation
